Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst III to join the Epic Program. You will lead advanced analysis, design, build, test, and optimize Epic functionality across departments, and act as a senior liaison for stakeholders and vendors in a high-impact environment.

You will coordinate large-scale upgrades and complex implementations, mentor analysts, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide governance-driven production support with after-hours readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced education preferred.
• 7-8 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, clinical information systems, or related experience.
• Epic certification in the assigned application(s) is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by AHC.
• Must be able to travel, on-call coverage, and extended-hour support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads advanced analysis and enterprise workflow design; architects, configures, builds, tests, validates, optimizes, and maintains Epic functionality and integrated solutions across boundaries.
• Leads resolution of high-impact incidents; directs root-cause analysis and communicates through closure.
• Plans and leads large/complex projects, upgrades, implementations, and optimization initiatives with milestones and risks.
• Mentors analysts and provides technical direction and knowledge transfer.
• Participates in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, and major-event support outside normal hours.
