Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II for the Anesthesia department. You will independently analyze requirements, design workflows, configure Epic modules, and test/validate functionality.

The role includes incident ownership, cross-team coordination, project leadership, and end-user support. Travel and extended-hour support may be required; Epic certification is expected or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for education year-for-year.
• 5–6 years of direct clinical, healthcare operations, clinical information systems, application support, or related experience; Epic experience preferred.
• Epic certification in assigned application(s) required or to be obtained within the established timeframe.
• Current clinical licensure preferred when relevant to the assigned application.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intermediate-to-advanced requirements and design workflows; configure, build, test, validate, and maintain Epic applications.
• Own complex incidents and requests; perform root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-application troubleshooting.
• Plan and lead small-to-medium projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process-improvement initiatives; manage scope, milestones, risks, testing, and implementation.
• Serve as liaison among end users, leaders, Epic reps, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and timelines.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, regression, user-acceptance) and validate production outcomes.
• Maintain documentation; develop knowledge articles, training materials, and end-user education.
