Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Epic Clinical Information System Analyst II for the Epic Program Department in Maryland. You will analyze clinical and operational requirements, configure Epic modules, and own complex incidents with cross-team collaboration.

You will plan small-to-medium projects, coordinate testing, and develop training materials while guiding less-experienced analysts. Expect to participate in go-lives, upgrades, and on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, information systems, business, or related field; substitutions allowed year-for-year.
• 5-6 years of direct clinical/healthcare operations or Epic experience preferred.
• Epic certification required or to be obtained within timeframe.
• Experience leading workstreams or mentoring colleagues preferred.
• Travel, on-call, and extended hours as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Analyze intermediate-to-advanced clinical and operational requirements; design workflows and configure Epic applications.
• Own complex incidents; perform root-cause analysis and coordinate cross-application troubleshooting.
• Plan and lead small-to-medium application projects, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements; manage scope and testing.
• Serve as liaison among end users, operational leaders, Epic representatives, and technical teams; ensure solutions meet business needs and timelines.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and procedures; support end-user education.
• Participate in go-lives, upgrades, downtimes, on-call support; communicate status, risks, dependencies, and escalation needs.
