Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA, is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst focused on Epic ClinDoc to support day-to-day operations, optimize clinical workflows, and drive system improvements in inpatient settings.

You will work with clinical stakeholders to analyze workflows, perform builds, upgrades, testing, and contribute to incident and change management while ensuring reliable Epic functionality across critical care environments.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and/or Epic Phoenix, including build, maintenance, optimization, and workflow configuration.
• Experience with application support, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements within a healthcare environment.
• Ability to perform workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration to support operational needs.
• Experience supporting incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, application integrations, and production support environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of Epic ClinDoc and related clinical applications.
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders to analyze workflows and implement system improvements.
• Assist with builds, upgrades, testing, and deployment of Epic applications.
• Perform incident, change, and problem management and participate in on-call rotations.
• Coordinate updates and releases with cross-functional teams.
