Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst to support Epic ClinDoc, focusing on inpatient workflows, builds, upgrades, testing, and optimization of clinical applications.

The role partners with clinicians to analyze workflows, manage incidents and changes, and help ensure reliable system performance across Epic ClinDoc and related modules. On-call rotation is involved.

Qualifications

• Epic ClinDoc certification required; experience with Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and Epic Phoenix preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 3 years of relevant experience with a degree, or 5+ years without a degree.
• Experience supporting Epic Inpatient ClinDoc/Phoniex, including build, maintenance, and workflow configuration.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management in a healthcare IT setting.
• Ability to analyze workflows and collaborate with clinical stakeholders to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Epic ClinDoc operations, builds, upgrades, testing, and enhancements.
• Analyze workflows and implement system improvements to optimize clinical care and efficiency.
• Coordinate application updates and releases with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in on-call support and incident resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical systems and integration efforts.
