Job summary

Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst - Epic ClinDoc to support, maintain, and optimize Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and related clinical applications. You will partner with clinicians to analyze workflows, implement improvements, and ensure reliable system performance.

Responsibilities include building, upgrading, testing, coordinating releases, participating in on-call support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance patient care and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Epic Inpatient ClinDoc and/or Epic Phoenix, including build, maintenance, optimization, and workflow configuration.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Ability to perform workflow analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder collaboration to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of clinical applications, focusing on Epic Inpatient ClinDoc.
• Analyze workflows, collaborate with clinical stakeholders, and implement system improvements to enhance patient care and efficiency.
• Support application builds, upgrades, testing activities, and coordination of updates/releases.
• Participate in on-call support and serve as a resource for application-related inquiries.
