Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst focused on Epic ClinDoc to support, optimize, and enhance clinical applications, primarily Epic Inpatient ClinDoc. You will collaborate with clinicians to analyze workflows and drive improvements that improve patient care and operations.

The role covers builds, upgrades, testing, and system enhancements, with on-call responsibilities and cross-functional coordination across IT and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3 years relevant experience with degree or 5+ years without degree.
• Epic Certification is required; Epic Care Inpatient ClinDoc and Epic Phoenix are preferred.
• Experience with Epic Inpatient ClinDoc, ClinDoc workflow configuration, and healthcare application support.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of Epic ClinDoc.
• Analyze workflows with clinical stakeholders and implement system improvements.
• Support application builds, upgrades, testing, and releases; participate in incident and change management.
• Provide on-call support and coordinate cross-functional IT activities.
