Job summary

Advocate Health, a major US health system, seeks a full-time Epic Analyst for a 40-hour work week. Dayshift, 8:00am–5:00pm, with on-call duties. This is a fully remote role across eligible states, including Utah.

You will map, analyze, and improve Epic workflows, translate requirements into designs, and develop tests and training materials with clinicians and IT teams. A Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field and 3 years IT/clinical experience are required; EPIC certification within six months

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, and testing.
• EPIC certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map Epic business processes and analyze improvement opportunities.
• Prepare functional specifications and validate against requirements.
• Configure Epic, perform testing, and develop training materials.
• Communicate status and upgrade plans to users and stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Epic applications.
