Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT professional to map and improve Epic-driven clinical and business processes. You will translate user requirements into functional designs, perform configurations, and develop test plans to ensure system reliability.

The role requires Epic experience, a related bachelor's degree, and 3 years in IT/clinical settings with process mapping and testing. The position offers full-time hours, on-call duties, and a fully remote setup inclusive of Michigan and other

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
Obtain within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements for EPIC certification(s).
Experience in Epic and other Healthcare applications.
Project management experience with ability to use project management software.

Responsibilities

Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes.
Prepare documentation for business requirements with diagrams and models; evaluate proposed solutions.
Translate user requirements into functional specifications and review with users.
Perform system configuration to meet business requirements; develop test plans and scripts.
Provide client training and develop training materials for users.
