Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an IT/EPIC specialist for a full-time remote role supporting Epic applications within the Imaging Services department. The candidate will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with on-call responsibilities, and must be eligible to work remotely from MS and other states listed.

Pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, with comprehensive benefits. The role requires EPIC certification within 6 months, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and about 3 years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or related field required.
• Typically 3 years in IT or clinical environment with process mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation experience.
• EPIC certification within 6 months and ongoing education required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes in Epic applications.
• Translate user requirements into functional/technical designs and review with users to ensure accuracy.
• Perform system configuration to meet business requirements and develop test plans and scripts.
• Provide training materials and end-user training; support and troubleshoot as needed.
• Communicate project status to clinic users and manage version upgrades.
