Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote Epic Analyst to map, analyze, and improve Epic workflows across clinical and business processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field and roughly three years in IT or a clinical environment with requirements gathering, testing and documentation.

Responsibilities include translating user requirements into design specs, configuring systems to meet needs, creating test plans, and delivering end-user training.

Qualifications

• Epic certification within 6 months of hire
• Typically 3 years in IT or clinical environment with mapping, analysis, requirements, testing and documentation

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure and improve Epic workflows and related processes
• Translate user requirements into functional specifications and review with users
• Perform system configuration to meet business needs and validate with tests
• Develop training materials and train end users as appropriate
• Communicate project status and manage upgrades for assigned applications
• Provide support and troubleshooting for assigned Epic applications
