Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated IT/Clinical Analyst to map, analyze, and improve Epic-based workflows within a busy health system. You will translate user requirements into functional specs, coordinate testing, and train end users as part of project delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field, plus about 3 years in IT or clinical environments with process mapping and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 3 years in IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences.
• Obtain EPIC certification within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve routine to moderately complex clinical and business processes for Epic applications.
• Conduct workflow analysis and map critical business processes using BPM techniques and industry best practices.
• Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams and data models for discussion and analysis.
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical design specifications.
• Prioritize requirements based on business needs and assess technological impact.
• Configure systems to meet business requirements and develop test plans/cases/scripts.
• Perform testing (unit, integration, system, end-user acceptance) and document outcomes.
• Develop training materials and train end-users as appropriate to the project.
