Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues and prepare units for move-in, following preventative maintenance schedules. EPA Type II or EPA Universal certifications are required or obtainable within 90 days of hire.

We value problem solvers with 1–3 years in multifamily maintenance. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related fields.
• HVAC experience required and ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to apartments and property facilities.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and follow up after repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related components.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and safety protocols.
