MAA is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across apartment homes and property facilities. The role includes diagnosing and fixing HVAC units, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, and adhering to a preventative maintenance schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily property management or facility maintenance.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required (or obtain within 90 days).
• Certified Pool Operator certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs to apartment homes and facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, lighting fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule and communicate with residents after repairs.
