Job summary

MAA Tysons Corner is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair across apartment homes and facilities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC units, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks while following preventative maintenance schedules.

EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification is required at hire or within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license is required. This on-site role offers opportunities for certifications and advancement within a large

Qualifications

One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
HVAC experience required.
EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good working order.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units, electrical appliances, outlets, and light fixtures.
Handle plumbing, carpentry, and locks as needed.
Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs are complete.
