Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repair across apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, while following a preventative maintenance plan and communicating with residents after repairs.

The role requires HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification (or within 90 days of hire), and a valid driver's license, with opportunities to obtain industry

Qualifications

• One to three years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.
• HVAC experience required
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days of start date
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for move-in and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units.
• Repair electrical appliances, outlets, light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs.
