Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and timely repairs to ensure apartments and facilities are in good order. You will diagnose and repair HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and locks, and prepare units for move-in while adhering to preventative maintenance schedules.

Ideal candidates have HVAC experience and EPA Type II or Universal certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal required at hire or within 90 days.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and facilities are in good working order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, electrical appliances, outlets and light fixtures, plumbing, carpentry, and locks.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and follow up with residents after repairs are complete.
