Job summary

Greystar is hiring a Maintenance Technician to ensure building assets, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and participate in the make-ready process for vacant apartments, while maintaining inventories and documentation.

The role requires adherence to safety rules, ability to work flexible hours, and the capability to operate across indoor/outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair tasks on property systems and equipment.
• Documentation of service requests and work performed.
• Compliance with safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs on property systems per policy and code.
• Complete make-ready tasks and prep vacant units for leasing with required inspections.
• Track materials, inventory, and re-order supplies as needed.
• Document work orders timely and accurately for records.
• Assist with grounds maintenance, cleaning, and minor improvements.
• Support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.
