Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

You will assist with site investigations, data interpretation, and risk assessments, contributing to QAPPs, DQOs, and SAPs while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related science with professional registration/certification.
7 years of related environmental consulting experience.
Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Experience with environmental regulations and project delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support site investigations and data interpretation for human health and ecological risk assessments.
Contribute to development of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
Assist in planning and preparing CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs and BERAs.
Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
