Job summary

CDM Smith in Milwaukee seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects with emphasis on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local initiatives.

The role involves developing DQOs, QAPPs, SAPs, CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs, collaborating with scientists and engineers, guiding junior staff, and participating in client meetings and proposals to advance firm solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field with professional registration/certification or Master's degree.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as duties require.
• Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Supports site investigations and risk assessments (HHRAs/ERAs).
• Develops DQOs, QAPPs and SAPs for projects.
• Prepares CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs and BERAs of varying complexity.
• collaborates with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approach.
• Provides guidance and training to junior staff; supports client meetings.
