CDM Smith in New York seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects and regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental efforts.

The role involves developing exposure models, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs, collaborating with scientists and engineers, and mentoring junior staff while contributing to client proposals and firm knowledge through white papers and conferences.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in science with professional scientist registration/certification.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and project demands.
• Equivalent additional related experience may substitute for degree.

Responsabilidades

• Supports site investigations and data interpretation for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Develops DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs; supports planning for HHRAs/SLERAs/BERAs.
• Collaborates with scientists/engineers/to implement approved project approaches.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentors.
• Supports proposals and client interactions; contributes to white papers and conferences.
