Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. You will assist with regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

Responsibilities include supporting site investigations, developing QAPPs, SAPs, and data quality objectives, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to implement approved project approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or related field.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Support site investigations and risk assessments (HHRAs/ERAs).
• Develop data quality objectives, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepare CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs for projects.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
