CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental projects across CDM Smith’s portfolio.

The position involves assisting with HHRAs and ERAs, developing DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs, and collaborating with scientists, engineers, and toxicologists to implement project approaches. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline (professional registration/certification may be required).
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency varies with duties.

Responsabilités

• Support site investigations and interpretation of data for human health and ecological risk assessments (HHRAs/ERAs).
• Develop and contribute to Data Quality Objectives (DQOs), QA Project Plans (QAPPs), and sampling/analysis plans (SAPs).
• Prepare conceptual site exposure models (CSEMs) and risk assessments (HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs).
• Collaborate with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provide guidance and mentor junior staff; support client meetings and proposals.
