Qualifications

• 15+ years of environmental consulting or leadership experience.
• Established professional reputation within the environmental industry with a network of contacts.
• Proven ability to develop and grow client relationships and generate new business in a consulting environment.
• Proven ability to operate as a seller-doer balancing business development, client management, and project execution.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, strengthen, and expand strategic relationships with regional, national, and multi-site clients in priority markets.
• Identify, develop, and win opportunities through technical expertise, client relationships, referrals, and strategic pursuits.
• Lead client calls and major proposals with subject matter experts and client managers to win opportunities.
• Contribute to cross-selling opportunities that connect clients with Apex's environmental, engineering, water, health & safety, and sustainability services.
• Mentor Project Managers to build their business development skills.
