Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking an Environmental Practice Leader - Transportation Natural Resources to join our national office network in offices including Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Akron, New Albany, Columbus, or Louisville. The role blends hands-on technical work with leadership and business development responsibilities for a growing environmental practice.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive environmental consulting, natural resources, or transportation environmental experience.
• Experience supporting transportation and/or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEPA, Clean Water Act sections 404/401, wetlands, streams, natural resources, permitting.
• Experience coordinating with state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Project management experience or readiness to take on increasing PM responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in mentoring others and helping build an environmental team.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental work on transportation and infrastructure projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead or support environmental documentation and permitting processes.
• Provide technical review and QA/QC of environmental deliverables.
• Develop client relationships and pursue new environmental opportunities.
• Mentor staff and help grow PRIME AE's environmental capabilities.
• Help establish processes and standards for the environmental practice.
