Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC seeks an Environmental Principal to lead growth across the Central Region. You will expand the environmental consulting business, deepen trusted client relationships, and drive organic growth while collaborating with leadership and technical teams.

You will engage with regional and national accounts, steer strategy, mentor project managers, and leverage national capabilities. Travel to client sites and events is expected; hybrid/remote work within the Central Region is

Qualifications

15+ years of environmental consulting, engineering, environmental compliance, remediation, or leadership in the industry.
Proven ability to develop and grow client relationships and generate new business in a consulting environment.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring professionals.
Ability to operate as a seller-doer balancing business development, client management, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Build and expand relationships with regional and national clients across priority markets.
Identify and win opportunities through technical expertise and client networks.
Lead client calls, manage major proposals, and collaborate with SMEs to secure new work.
Mentor project managers to develop business development skills.
Provide technical leadership across environmental services and risk management.
