Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or five years related experience.
• Master's degree preferred Environmental Science or related field.
• Five (5) years or more progressively responsible experience in environmental field.

Responsibilities

• Performs environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities and ensures compliance with Ryder policies and regulations.
• Stays current with local, state and federal environmental regulations affecting warehousing, waste and hazmat management.
• Provides day-to-day compliance support to warehouses and cross-docking facilities, including facility audits and responding to external audits.
• Develops and implements environmental training tools for waste management, spill response, regulatory reporting, and related areas.
