Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with Ryder environmental policies across warehousing and cross-docking operations.

You will lead due diligence, regulatory monitoring, audits, and training programs to minimize risk and enhance environmental performance. The role emphasizes hazardous materials storage and collaboration with stakeholders from RFP through steady-state operations, reporting to the Director of Environmental Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or five years related environmental experience.
• Master's degree preferred in Environmental Science or related field.
• Five+ years progressively responsible position in environmental field in a large corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities from RFP through Go Live.
• Stay current with local, state and federal environmental regulations for stationary emissions and hazmat management.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities, including facility audits and response to external audits.
• Develop and implement environmental training tools for waste management, spill response, and regulatory reporting.
