Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to lead compliance efforts for warehousing and cross-docking operations, with emphasis on hazardous materials handling.

You will collaborate with stakeholders from RFP through steady-state operations to ensure regulatory adherence and robust environmental controls. The role requires a strong background in environmental policy, risk assessment, and training development, reporting to the Director of Environmental Services.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or 5+ years of related experience.
• Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred.
• 5+ years progressively responsible environmental experience in a large corporate setting.
• 5+ years familiarity with Environmental Laws impacting transportation and logistics.
• 3+ years experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation.
• Experience with regulatory agencies or environmental consulting.

Responsabilidades

• Performs environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities from RFP issuance through Go Live.
• Stays current with environmental regulations impacting Ryder, including emissions, waste, and hazmat management; implements controls to reduce risk.
• Provides day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities and coordinates external audits.
• Develops and implements environmental training tools for waste management, spill response, and regulatory reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
