Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Environmental Services Compliance Manager to lead compliance efforts for warehousing and crossdocking operations with emphasis on hazardous materials.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders from RFP through steady-state operations and reports to the Director of Environmental Services. The ideal candidate will have extensive regulatory knowledge, strong analytical and training development skills, and a proven ability to drive environmental controls that

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field is required.
• Five years or more of environmental regulatory experience in a corporate setting preferred.
• Experience with hazardous materials storage and transportation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform environmental due diligence assessments for new supply chain opportunities through Go Live and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Stay current with local, state, and federal environmental rules affecting warehousing, emissions, waste and hazmat management.
• Provide day-to-day compliance support to warehouse and cross-docking facilities, including audits and coordinating investigations.
• Develop and deliver environmental training tools for waste management, spill response and regulatory reporting.
