Job summary

Charter Communications, operating as Spectrum, seeks a Business Development Representative to launch a career in technology sales with hands-on training from industry leaders. You will master strategic prospecting, build valuable client relationships and help develop new business opportunities.

You will participate in targeted sales training, collaborate with Account Executives, and manage a pipeline of prospects while learning Spectrum’s product suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0–1+ years of sales experience in business development, prospecting, or CRM usage.
• CRM experience; Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of telecom or IT/SaaS sectors is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Participate in targeted sales training to develop prospecting skills.
• Build relationships with internal Account Executives to support sales goals.
• Explain Spectrum products and services clearly to potential clients.
• Qualify prospects while maintaining professionalism and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with field-based Major Account Executives to achieve sales targets.
• Schedule smooth client transitions to the outside sales team.
• Manage a pipeline of interested prospects and monitor competitive activity.
• Commit to continuous learning of sales strategies and techniques.
