Job summary

Spectrum Business is seeking a Business Development Representative to jumpstart a technology sales career with hands-on training and mentorship. You will prospect, build client relationships and contribute to new business opportunities, expanding the sales pipeline and supporting the growth of the Sales Organization.

You will participate in training, collaborate with Account Executives, and learn Spectrum’s product suite while delivering value to potential clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 0–1+ years sales or business development experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Willingness to learn and grow in technology sales.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems is a plus.
• Interest in telecommunications industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Participate in targeted sales training to develop prospecting skills.
• Build relationships with internal Account Executives to support goals.
• Explain Spectrum products and services to potential clients.
• Qualify prospects while maintaining professionalism and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Major Account Executives to meet targets.
• Schedule smooth transitions to the outside sales team.
• Manage a pipeline of prospects and monitor competitors.
• Pursue continuous learning of sales strategies.
