Job summary

Courser seeks a Systems Engineer II to manage and support client infrastructures within an MSP environment. You will ensure secure, reliable operation across servers, networks, and cloud services while delivering proactive solutions and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities include migrations, deployments, monitoring, security, backup and DR, plus collaboration with engineers and account managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or IT or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of systems engineering with IT infrastructure focus.
• Strong Windows/Linux, virtualization, and networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to IT challenges ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead server migrations, network upgrades, new software implementations, or cloud integrations.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure for client organizations.
• Deploy and manage Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud services.
• Monitor servers and network devices for uptime and performance.
• Implement security best practices and manage vulnerability & patching.
• Provide technical support and act as escalation point for issues.
• Document systems and generate periodic performance reports.
• Collaborate with account managers to ensure service delivery.
