Job summary

City Year AmeriCorp members coach and mentor students across elementary to high school, helping them build academic skills, improve attendance, and foster positive school behaviors.

You will plan and monitor student progress and work with teachers on in-class support. Entry-level, paid, full-time position with 2–4 weeks of training at the start of the year, joining a team dedicated to student success and school-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring students 1:1 and in small groups to support academic success and positive behaviors
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and collaborate with teachers on classroom instruction and student assistance
• Support extended day and in-school programs to boost engagement and learning
