Actalent is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Development Representative in the Richmond area to build trusted client relationships and drive business in engineering and sciences staffing. You will collaborate with the recruiting team to identify top talent and convert prospects into opportunities.

The role offers an intensive training program, career growth, and uncapped commission potential. Expect base salary after training, quarterly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales (including sales major/clubs/internships).
• Strong desire for a career in Business-to-Business sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency and strong presentation skills; high standard of character and professionalism.
• Eagerness to learn as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as talent solutions and services subject matter expert for respective territory.
• Establish target accounts and prospect lists using internal and external resources.
• Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer relationships using CRMs and networking tools.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision makers and qualify opportunities to create value.
• Increase sales and market share within assigned and new accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to ensure profitability and market alignment.
• Build relationships within accounts by providing quality consultants and marketing resumes.
• Lead sales-related activities including client site meetings and consultant lunches.
• Collaborate with recruiting to identify top talent for client needs.
