Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is hiring a Junior Property Compliance Analyst to support tenant file reviews under Section 42 and 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility. The role involves research on federal/state regulations, adherence to guidelines, and meeting productivity targets across multiple locations including potential remote or hybrid work options.

The position requires a high school diploma with at least one year in related housing programs; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of relevant experience in Section 42, Section 8, or other government housing programs, with focus on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• COS/HCCP certifications preferred; willingness to obtain within 2 years.
• Knowledge of HOTMA and housing compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports.
• Identify and elevate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Research federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings under supervision.
• Work in a deadline-driven environment with oversight to ensure accuracy.
• Meet established file review productivity benchmarks.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
