Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team on active construction sites. This entry-level role focuses on building competency in essential duties such as documentation, contract submittals, and logs, with growth into broader project management responsibilities.

You’ll learn to coordinate submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes while interfacing with managers, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a construction-related role.
• Combination of training, education, and relevant work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Oversee project activities as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Maintain change orders, submittal and document control logs.
• Prepare logs and documentation for construction meetings.
• Create and issue Subcontractors’ contracts.
• Assemble and deliver Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
• Ensure adherence to the project quality control plan.
• Interact with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation for Owner/Maintenance Manuals.
• Maintain Warranty Log and project reports.
• Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors for project management support.
• Assist field personnel as needed.
• Monitor other contractors’ activities and progress.
• Create Job Information Sheets and Job Files.
