Job summary

Massachusetts Black Women Attorneys seeks an entry-level Probation Case Administrator I for the Orleans District Court. You will perform data entry for probation cases, run queries in the CARI system, and compile the daily trial list while delivering courteous front-desk service to coworkers, lawyers, law enforcement, and the public.

The role supports Probation Officers, opens case assignments, and prepares documentation for court proceedings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides front counter customer service and handles calls.
• Enters and updates restraining orders and updates court records in CARI.
• Copies, files, and sorts court papers and prepares documents for court sessions.
• Assists attorneys, litigants, and law enforcement with information requests.
• Retrieves criminal records and updates records in automated systems.
• Assists Probation Officers with case closures and documentation.
