The role serves as the primary contact for patients, handling registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and high-quality customer service within the EHR environment.

The position supports access to care, checks in patients, manages appointments, and coordinates with care teams while upholding confidentiality and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• One year of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.
• Ability to use medical databases and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-register patients with accurate demographic information.
• Verify insurance and eligibility in the EHR.
• Check-in patients and collect co-pays.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments across service lines.
• Manage patient communications and outreach to care team.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to service standards.
