TEAM, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an entry-level Assistant Technician - NDE - A0 to support certified NDT technicians performing nondestructive testing across client facilities in oil and gas, nuclear, power, aerospace, and municipal sectors.

The role requires readiness to travel, pass pre-employment screenings, and obtain site credentials such as TWIC or DISA. You will assist with setup of testing methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) and handle field documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings and background checks.
• Ability to obtain TWIC, DISA, and other required site access credentials.
• Willingness to travel and operate in industrial field environments (confined spaces, elevated platforms, variable weather).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver via ladders/stairs, and work extended hours or alternative schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified NDT technicians in setting up and executing testing methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
• Prepare, clean, organize, and transport tools, materials, and inspection equipment safely to and from job sites.
• Support radiation safety practices and secure work areas for radiographic testing operations.
• Complete field documentation, timesheets, and reports as instructed by leads.
• Perform general support labor including rigging, lifting, and setting up access equipment.
• Follow all site-specific safety regulations, client protocols, and TEAM's Life Critical Expectations.
