Job summary

SECU is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative (MSR) in Charlotte. This entry-level role provides foundational training in branch operations and member service across in-person, phone, and digital channels.

You will learn to handle cash, process basic accounts, and follow standard procedures under supervision. Expect to complete a structured training plan including E&E and Core Modules, with opportunities to grow into more advanced member services roles.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Preferred – Bachelor’s degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts/Science via NC-CTP.
• Must complete the Credit Union’s Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members in a courteous, professional manner.
• Balance the cash drawer in accordance with standards.
• Process transactions, including wire transfers and currency exchanges.
• Respond to member inquiries by telephone and in person.
• Maintain confidential member information and follow security procedures.
• Support branch operations and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
