Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to gain foundational knowledge of branch operations and deliver exemplary member service. You will handle inquiries in person and by phone, process transactions, balance cash, and participate in ongoing training across multiple modules to advance within the role.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must complete Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Provide member service by responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and online.
• Balance cash drawer and process transactions following standards.
• Assist with opening basic accounts under supervision and learn branch operations.
• Follow policies, security procedures, and MIP guidelines; maintain confidentiality.
• Support cross‑department collaboration to fulfill member requests.
