Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union in Roanoke Rapids is seeking an Associate Member Services Officer to learn the fundamentals of branch operations and deliver exemplary member service in person and over the phone. The role includes cash handling, account origination and maintenance, and basic notary services.

You will begin training in lending and collections while completing core modules and maintaining confidentiality. A supportive team environment and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree or CCUE certification or associate degree via NC-CTP.
• Aptitude for meeting people and building member trust; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members courteously in person and by phone.
• Handle cash drawer and basic teller duties.
• Assist with account origination and maintenance; learn lending and collections.
• Process notary services as requested; respond to member inquiries.
• Support other departments to fulfill member requests and maintain confidentiality.
