Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Understanding of bank policies and procedures related to collections.
• Basic knowledge of SHAW, Navigator, and UCBI internal banking systems (training provided).
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.

• Successful completion of in-house collection training and mentoring programs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers via letters, phone calls, and emails to schedule repayments.
• Ensure the collection of all assigned consumer loans, documenting efforts in SHAW Collection System.
• Assist in the collection of commercial loans as needed.
• Document all customer interactions and update information in Navigator.
• Obtain paperwork prior to repossession and assist in repossession processes.
• Investigate accounts for payment corrections, late fees, and misapplied payments.
• Follow all bank policies and procedures with integrity.
• Attend training on loan policies, procedures, and relevant laws.
