WebFX in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an entry-level IT Support specialist to join our in-office team. You will handle help-desk requests, troubleshoot hardware and software, and translate tech concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance as you grow.

This role offers comprehensive, on-the-job training, regular upskilling sessions, and a defined career path from Jr IT Support to higher IT roles. Expect a collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong team support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: All majors welcome!
• GPA: 3.4 or above
• Upcoming grads encouraged to apply – hiring up to a year in advance
• Prior experience in any field (part-time, summer job, internship, etc)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service experience (in any industry)
• Ability to translate technical information into simple terms
• Experience in tech support or IT Help Desk (bonus)
• Excel/Google Suite familiarity
• Solid understanding of Windows and Mac OS
• Familiarity with business office technologies
• Familiarity with AI tools
• Passion for technology and continuous learning
• Ability to work with urgency and deliver results

Responsibilities

• Respond to support tickets from team members
• Troubleshoot computer systems, software, hardware, and workplace technology
• Educate team members on technology and guide them through problem solving
• Run diagnostic programs to identify and resolve problems
• Respond promptly to team member questions in-person or via email
• Resolve LAN, WiFi, and other network-related issues
• Install and configure Windows and Mac workstations for new hires
• Create and configure new company accounts for team members
• Research solutions to emerging technology challenges and document new processes
