Job summary

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) in Tempe, AZ is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician to assist employees, troubleshoot hardware and software, and support daily IT operations.

The role is primarily office-based with occasional on-site or remote support. You will handle tickets, assist users via multiple channels, and collaborate with IT staff and vendors while learning and growing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and general computer operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot common hardware, software, and user issues.
• Familiarity with IT ticketing/help desk systems for tracking requests.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
• Understanding of user accounts, permissions, and access management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to employees and troubleshoot issues.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and document resolutions.
• Interact with users via phone, email, chat, and in-person channels.
• Collaborate with IT team members and vendors for issue resolution.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain computer hardware and software.
