Job summary

Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is seeking a Junior Help Desk Technician in Santa Ana, onsite, to join our IT support team. You will be the first contact for internal users, troubleshooting issues, and documenting resolutions as part of a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Requires entry-level IT support background; a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field is preferred. Onsite schedule is Monday through Friday; pay is approximately $20–$22 per hour on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• Entry-level IT support familiarity or strong technical foundation with interest in IT support.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows environments and basic desktop support concepts.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Exposure to tools such as Okta, Jira, or Google Workspace is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end users via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional assistance.
• Log, track, and update support tickets while documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Perform initial diagnostics and resolve common hardware, software, and Windows-based issues.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, applications, peripherals, and basic hardware components.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks and follow up with users to confirm issues are fully resolved.
