Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for Commercial HVAC products in Orlando, FL. This entry-level role targets recent Mechanical or Electrical Engineering graduates to act as a technical advisor and product advocate for commercial contractor sales.

You will configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions, supporting the sales team and dealers. Opportunities for bonuses and incentives are noted in the job description.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 0-5+ years of commercial HVAC engineering, applications experience, or HVAC knowledge beneficial.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings/plans.
• Proficiency with CRM/database tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial HVAC sales.
• Support Account Managers and Sales Managers with new and existing accounts.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plans and specifications.
• Follow up on quotes, bids and submittals to close sales.
• Engage with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team via phone and email.
• Assist with training for Commercial dealers as needed.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate customer needs for growth.
• Travel with the sales team to presentations and trade shows as needed.
