Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to support commercial HVAC contractor sales with technical guidance, quotes, and product solutions. You will collaborate with the sales team to position CE offerings to customers and provide detailed bids and submittals for projects.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and CRM tools, plus experience with contractors. Travel with the team is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering/technical field.
• 3–5+ years of commercial HVAC engineering or applications experience.
• Experience working with contractors is highly desired.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Assist Account Managers with new and existing accounts and introduce new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plan reviews and specifications.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to finalize the sale.
• Engage with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team via phone and email.
• Assist with training for our Commercial dealers as needed.
• Resolve customer issues in alignment with the company’s mission and objectives.
• Travel with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade shows.
