Job summary

Carrier Enterprise, LLC is a leading national distributor of residential and light commercial HVAC products, seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team. This role targets recent graduates with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degrees who want a technical sales career and to work with licensed HVAC dealers and contractors.

You will configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions, support the commercial sales team, and travel as needed for presentations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office and reading blueprints.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical control systems.
• Experience with CRM/Database tools; able to work with contractors.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; 0–5+ years in HVAC applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to business opportunities and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Support Account Managers and introduce new products to engineers and contractors.
• Prepare bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plans and specs.
• Follow up on quotes and submittals to close sales.
• Interact with customers, manufacturers, and sales team via phone and email.
• Travel with the sales team as needed for presentations and trade shows.
